** INCOMING 4th and 5th GRADE SUMMER MATH - SECOND SET of SKILLS **
I have posted the second set of summer math skills. The assigned skills are listed on the students' IXL home page. The students may work at their own pace, but all assigned skills must be completed. When your child opens each skill, he/she should click on learn with an example at the top of the skill page. This will provide the child with a review of the skill. If your child gets an incorrect answer, please have him/her scroll down the page for an explanation and review of the correct way to solve the problem. All students must achieve a Smart Score of AT LEAST 80, but we encourage the students to work past that. A Smart Score of 80 shows proficiency in the skill, 90 shows excellence in the skill, and 100 shows mastery of the skill.

*** WELCOME INCOMING 5th GRADE ! ***
June 2020
Dear Parents,
This summer all incoming students in grades 1 – 8 will be using the IXL Summer Spotlight Skill Plan for Math. The students’ username and password will remain the same as during the school year. The recommended skills will be listed on the students’ IXL homepage under the heading skills suggested by your teachers (right side of screen in blue). We will be assigning two sets of skills for the students to complete. The first set of skills will be posted on your child’s IXL homepage on Tuesday, June 23rd. We will send an email to you when the second set of skills is posted. The students could work at their own pace, but all assigned skills must be completed. When you child opens each skill, he/she should click on learn with an example at the top of the skill page.
Please do not allow your child to complete any skills on IXL that have not been assigned by your teacher. If you would like additional practice for your child, we recommend the following free websites:
