Since our week is short, I wanted to touch base with you on a few important items. Students in grades 4-8 will come home this week with an invitation for our Christmas Concert, which will take place on December 15th at 6pm in the church. Since it is a school event, we must follow certain guidelines. Masks must be worn by all. Only two guests per family, not per student, are permitted. Students should be dressed in their holiday best and should be appropriate for church. Many students are arriving at school without masks. While we have a supply of masks here, it is meant to be a backup. The same children arrive daily without masks; please make sure your child has a mask. Although the weather is beginning to turn to cold days, we would still like to get the children outside on milder days. This is not possible when children do not have coats with them. Thank you to those who have already sent in donations for the Babes in Bethlehem program, our Advent program. We will accept donations up until December 17th. With Christmas shopping season upon us, consider using the Scrips program for your shopping this year. Shipping delays are affecting the market, so it is the perfect time to give a gift card! Orders will be placed on Friday, December 3rd, and Friday, December 17th. Tomorrow is dress down for families that sold two or more boxes of chocolate. Friday, December 3rd, is a day off for students; teachers have region wide professional development. Friday, December 10th, is a half day. Wednesday, December 22nd, is a half day and our last day before Christmas break. Pies may be picked up tomorrow at dismissal. Christmas trees and wreaths for the church may be purchased through the rectory. Please see attached. There are still spots available for the 300 Club raffle. November's drawing will be held on Friday, November 26th. Please see attached if you are interested. Thank you for your attention, Mrs. Hynes
